Mock Interviews for Internship SeekersUse SHIFT+ENTER to open the menu (new window).

Peer Mentors will provide feedback and suggestions that will help improve your interviewing skills before internship interviews which will take place starting in January.

Because your ability to interview at the highest possible level is absolutely critical given the level of competiveness of the MBA job market, successfully completing a mock interview is a requirement to participate in on-campus interviews.

Logistical details:

·      All Peer Mentor Mock Interviews will take place between November 2nd and 20th. Any internship seekers who haven’t completed a mock interview with a Peer Mentor or through Mock Interview Day by November 20 will not be eligible to interview on campus.

·      Peer Mentors will contact you to arrange a time for your mock interview. Allow for 45 minutes (30 minutes for the interview, 15 for feedback).  Mentees will receive detailed interview (green form) and cover letter feedback (white form) shortly after the interview. Mentees will also be asked to complete a Peer Mentor Feedback form (same form that was used for Peer Mentor resume reviews) and to return it to 301 Mervis (be sure to check the “mock interview” option).

·      You will submit a resume and cover letter (tailored to a specific opening of interest of your choosing) 24 hours in advance of your mock interview session.

·      Dress is business professional for internship seekers, business casual for Peer Mentors.
